Supervision
I am a qualified supervisor working with therapists at all stages of their career.
You might be looking for your first supervisor because you’re studying or just qualified… or you might be an experienced counsellor needing a fresh perspective or some reparative work after a supervisory rupture. Whatever the reason, I can offer you an exploratory space that meets your supervisory needs.
As someone who used to dread supervision for fear of judgement, I know how vital it is that we feel free to bring everything to supervision – the good, the bad and the ugly! I aim to offer a healthy balance of warmth, challenge and humour to my supervisees – enabling them to build their skills and confidence from that secure base.
To say a little about my counselling model of integration, I work from a person-centred, trauma-informed core, through which I weave transactional analysis, gestalt and psychodynamic aspects.
I’m trained in the cyclical model of supervision which gives the session a clear structure and focus. I am also interested in the 7-eyed model of supervision, paying attention to the many different relationship dynamics that can show up in the work that we do.
